Thank you for your time Cal Poly Pomona

At the Dubai Radisson Blu Hotel, I had the absolute privilege to speak to a class of Cal Poly Pomona university students who came to the Emirates to learn about the UAE and life abroad. During the panel, we discussed life experiences while abroad and gave important tips on how to mitigate culture shock and thrive in culturally different environments.

I gave personal insights on the cultural and economic differences in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and my professional contributions on producing scholars equipped for the 21st-century economy. My other colleagues on the panel, including my entrepreneurial wife, Dee Azlan, presented their phenomenal life stories and how it intertwined with their successful careers and entrepreneurial ventures in the UAE.
